Our seminar is co-directed by Carlos González-Barandiarán y de Muller – Deputy Director-General of Registries and Documentation of Historical Heritage of the Ministry of Culture – and Agustín González García, a lawyer and trustee of the Professor Uría Foundation. The seminar promotes the study of art law as a way to contribute to developing and protecting Spain’s artistic heritage.

This latest edition is titled “Crossed Perspectives” and the focus will be on a range of domestic and international cases concerning art law, for which we will have two speakers who will provide their perspectives on a topic: a lawyer or judge and an expert in the work, artist, genre, technology or artistic style and which the judgment or set of judgments deals with.

The seminar will take place from 3 April to 19 June 2024 in the auditorium of Uría Menéndez’s Madrid office (calle Príncipe de Vergara, 187, Madrid).
