The aim of these seminars is to encourage the study of art law so as to contribute towards developing and protecting Spain’s rich and varied cultural heritage from a legal perspective with a particular focus on art.

The eighth edition will cover two fascinating topics: the influence of AI on art and the protection of underwater cultural heritage.

The seminar, which will be co-directed by Carlos González-Barandiarán y de Mueller - Deputy Director General for Records and Documentation of Historic Heritage of the Ministry of Culture - and Agustín González Garcia - a lawyer and trustee of the Professor Uría Foundation, will take place from 7 April to 9 June 2025 at Uría Menéndez’s Madrid offices (calle Principe de Vergara, 187, Madrid).
